NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM IN PRAGUE – REVIEW AND SWATCH

NYX cosmetics has recently launched in India and is the talk of the town currently. Initially this brand was available on international sites or in Sephora but luckily they are now accessible through Nykaa.com. Isn’t that great?? This brand has good quality makeup stuff with many shades and varieties.

If you have been following our blog, I have already reviewed one of NYX soft matte lip cream in San Paulo , you can check the review here. Today I am going to review another shade from the matte lip cream range called Prague.

The names of these lip shades sound so classy . I am really fond of this range and so after searching for a shade for my skin tone, I chose Prague. Lets see how well it suits me??

My Review on NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague:

 

NYX Prague is one of the best shades I have ever used . Though they have many awesome shades, I always like to try shades which are similar to  pink, berry and red. It comes in a normal lip gloss kind of packaging and has a black colour cap on it.

It is a nice berry shade with a hint of pink and I am sure it will be a hit with the Indian skin tones. On application, the colour glides on smoothly and looks perfect on exfoliated lips. It is anytime better to exfoliate your lips, apply a lip balm, wipe the lip balm with a tissue and then apply this lip colour. As this is a matte lip cream, it is advisable to do the above step or else it can settle in fine lines and make them visible.

After applying this lip colour, it feels very light and stays for a longer time. I really like lip colours which stay for a longer time . Talking about the price , I feel its really affordable and it can be used for a longer time

So , I would highly recommend this one for people who want to try something in berry shade. You will really like this one.

Recently, I visited Sephora that opened in my city some time back. It feels so good to see all the top brands at one place, I mean you can imagine the excitement with which we enter a store like this. Coming to today’s review, I have always been a lipstick lover. So its a review on  NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo.

About NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo-

Neither lipstick nor lip gloss, this matte lip cream is a new kind of lip color that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and unlike some matte lipstick formulas also moisturizing.

Price–  The price varies online and in sephora stores, I got this for Rs 530.

Availability– You can buy them from Sephora stores based in Pune or Delhi. They are available online on some websites too.

My Review on NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo.

To be honest, this lip shade from NYX was on my wishlist since the first time I saw it on web. It was like love at first sight for me when I saw this shade. I love wearing different shades of pink and this one is my personal favourite. It is a rosy pink shade that brightens up my skin instantly on applying it. Coming to the pigmentation, it covers up the lips in the first application itself. I don’t feel the need to apply another coat of this. I always use a lip balm, wipe it off with a tissue and then apply this for the smooth application. It gives an even look to my lips , and as this is a matte lip cream, the texture is creamy and the fragrance is something similar to vanilla.. Though the scent goes away after applying it. The staying power is really amazing , I mean after having lunch and a coffee it still stays. This shade has earned me a lot of compliments and  it can be used for a daily makeup look.

Overall, I personally recommend this shade for all the complexions. If you finding a daily wear lip colour in the shade of pink, this will be the perfect one for you.

Hello everyone,

Last week I was in Mumbai for some shopping and my cousin took me this store in Khar , Mumbai . Its called ” New Beauty Centre”. They had all awesome stuff including makeup , skincare and haircare products.All the products had nice discounts there. While crossing the counters, I saw NYX counter and saw NYX LONG EYE PENCIL- GREEN GLITTER over there

This pencil is actually very long…I bought this for Rs 100 and its quite affordable. For me it will last very long. Coming to the actual review, this pencil come with a sharpener and the colour is pastel Green with gold shimmers. Its quite easy to use and very soft on application. It does not hurt my eye and glides on smoothly. 

 

The colour is quite pigmented and gives a nice effect to the eyes. I have even tried using this as an eyeshadow( was doing tp so thought of this weird idea..hehe) but it actually looked nice. I use these to as a eyeliner and an eyeshadow both. So it is a multipurpose product for me. I really love this product and this would go on for a long time.

Summing it up:

I think this is a great eye pencil. Its staying power is long and its a lovely green shade with gold shimmers. Its perfect for a beginner as well as any makeup artist. I find this a multi- purpose product for myself

Rating: I would give it a full score on my list
