Colourpop Out And about Lip Bundle review

Lets know something about Colourpop first-
ColourPop was born, raised and made with love in the City of Angels. Founded in 2014 by Seed Beauty, we pride ourselves on being wallet friendly and bunny approved.

Price of the Lip Bundle- Usually $19 but I got it for $16 on sale.

Where did I get them from?

I know you must be curious to know as to how I got them .I bought them from the website itself. They offer international shipping for $9.90 which I found a bit too high, but if its your first order with them, you can get a discount of $5 by registering your email . The coupon code is valid for the next 7 days .

Was I charged any customs?

Luckily I was not charged any customs because the price of the order was low.

How long did it take for the order to reach?

It took 15 working days for the order to reach; meanwhile I could track the order on the link provided by them.

About Out and about Lip Bundle-

Viper: Ultra Matte Lip; true dusty rose

Times Square: Ultra Matte Lip; muted pink beige

Baracuda: Ultra Satin Lip; warm deepened rose

My take on Out and About Lip Bundle-

LRM_EXPORT_20180207_190201-01

Colourpop has extremely adorable lip bundles. I got three different shades – Viper, Times Square, Baracuda. They are three distinct shades and most of them will suit the Indian skin tone. Viper is a Ultra Matte Lip in a true dusty rose color. Times Square is a pink beige combination. Baracuda is a warm deepened rose color.

These come in a transparent packaging with a silver top which has a lip applicator. The transparent packaging helps to see the amount of product used. It can be applied easily. These stay up to 7 hours on my lips and then start fading a little after that. I usually remove them with Garnier Micellar water. The plus point is it doesn’t leave a stain.

Do I love this stuff?

Yes I love this lip bundle and will be purchasing more of these lip bundles.

Love Beauty Stuff Rating- 5/5

Enjoyy,

My Recent Mini Haul from Himalaya

My Recent Mini Haul from Himalaya

Hey everyone,

I know its been long since I have posted on the blog due to some personal reasons, but I would like to thank you all for supporting and following the blog which in turn reminds me of hosting a giveaway soon.

Recently I got a little skincare stuff from Himalaya. We all know that Himalaya is a natural brand that offers different skincare and body care products. What I really love about them is that they are easy to use, give great results yet on a budget.

So let get on what I bought from the Himalaya store recently-

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

  1. Himalaya Refreshing Cleansing Milk-

This was a repurchase. I like using this when I skin looks extremely tired and dull. Just take a little of it on a cotton swab and clean your face with it and then wash with plain water. You will see how it removes the dirt and oiliness from the skin so effectively.

2.  Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion-

I have used this before and this was a repurchase again. It is a very soft textured cocoa butter lotion and the best part is that it has a mild fragrance. Though it takes a little time to absorb but the skin feels soft after applying it

3. Himalaya Orange Face Scrub-

Honestly I will be using this for the first time. Recently I feel my face has got a bit of tanning so I picked this up. Will definitely review this after using it .

4. Himalaya Orange Peel Off Mask-

I am really fond of  this product and this is my third tube that I have purchased. I had an impression that peel off masks are messy  so I avoided using them, but this changed my entire perception of it . A definite must try. Review coming up soon.

In all , I got these products so that’s a mini haul from Himalaya. Do comment below and let us know what would you like to purchase from this brand.

Enjoy,

NOVEMBER FAVOURITES-2016

20 Nov

Hey all,

I cant believe November is already here, like this year has gone so quick and its going to be New year after the next month. Today I am going to be listing down some of my favourites for the month of November.

As November is all about winters, My skin which is usually oily tends to become a bit dry and so it needs that extra moisture. So I have been using some new products which I am going to be reviewing soon. Here we go with the list:-

  1. Himalayas Age Defying Hand Cream:- Now may be its just too early to start using such creams for my age but somehow I really wanted to try this out. Though Himalaya has been a known brand ,I have hardly used their products. So when I purchased this and after using it I have been loving it . Priced at Rs 160.. It makes my hands smooth and soft. I will be reviewing this in my coming posts.

2. Kiehl’s  Midnight Recovery Concentrate : My skin type is usually oily so I never thought that using oils on my skin would be suitable . But this myth was busted by Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It is a bit oil kind of serum but it just disappears after being applied and I wake up with a fresh glowy face in the morning. Perfect for winters.

.3. Maybelline Anti Oxidant Lip Balm:- I have used like a tons of these and it still remains my personal favourite. You can check the review here.

Maybelline_Berry_2_thumb.jpg

4. Himalaya Neem Peel Off Mask– Another amazing product from Himalaya I would say. This peel off mask comes in a gel form and you can peel it away once it dries up. Detailed Review coming up soon.

5. The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash:- This is again one of my favourites for November . It cleanses my skin well and helps in reducing acne.

So these were my favourites, do let me know yours.

Livon Hair Serum Review

16 Nov

Hello everyone,

Winters are here and so are our hair woes. I usually love winters but skin starts getting dry and hair needs pampering all the time too. So today I will be talking about this product which I have been using daily since weeks. Of course we all have used this product someday, so I am here to share my review on this. I will be reviewing Livon Hair Serum.

Now we all have seen the Livon Ads on television or heard about it from friends or family. I always had the need to apply hair serums because of two reasons mainly which are dry hair and shine. So I started using this product weeks back and lets see how well did I like it.

About Livon Hair Serum:-

New Livon Serum is a hair essential for damage protection. It controls frizz, eases out tangles and reduces breakage to give you silky, shiny hair. Unlike the earlier Livon Silky Potion, New Livon Serum is designed to be so lightweight that you don’t feel it at all once applied. It has a mild fragrance which is inspired by fine fragrances.

Key Benefits

Damage Protection

Eases out tangle

Reduces breakage

Great Hair Texture:

Makes hair silk and shiny

Ingredients:

Vitamin E which nourishes hair and Mild Fragrance inspired by fine fragrances

My Review on Livon Hair Serum:

My hair tends to be dry in winters and oily in summers. The packaging is super cute. It comes in a transparent bottle with a pink flip cap. It is travel friendly and can be carried in the handbag easily. I like the transparent packaging as it is easy to keep a track on how much serum is remaining.

This serum is transparent and has a bit of thick consistency. You do not need a lot of product at all , just a bit according to your hair length and you good to go. Applying more of it might make your hair look a bit limp. I apply this on damp hair and then use a hair brush.

IMG_9069.jpg

Now coming to the claims it makes, Yes it entangles my hair nicely ,gives the shine to them and makes it manageable. It controls frizz to an extent and so I like this product. This product is available online and in stores and is priced at Rs  115 for 50ml. It will take me 2 to 3 months to finish this serum as I don’t need a lot of quantity of it.

Livon Hair Serum is a good product and can be used whenever you plan to wash your hair and your hair will be good to go.

Let me know if you have used it before and how was ur experience with it??

Enjoyy,

Sonal.
